This workshop brings together interdisciplinary scholars to advance critical debates on imperiality and coloniality in the social sciences and humanities. Building on anti-colonial, postcolonial and decolonial scholarship, it places particular emphasis on perspectives from postsocialist societies. The workshop explores how imperial forms of power developed not only through colonial empires but also through socialist and post-socialist political orders, and how these histories intersect across regions.
