Dr. Aku Kwamie, Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research, WHO will give a presentation as part of the colloquium series of the Graduate School “Health Policy and Systems in Uncertainties” at the School of Public Health, Bielefeld University. All interested are welcome.

Aku Kwamie is a health systems researcher with expertise in applying complexity theory and systems science to issues of health systems governance, management and leadership, and theory-driven evaluation. She is interested in subnational health systems. At the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research, Aku leads the unit on Strengthening Institutions and Methods, where she focuses on integrating systemic approaches to capacity strengthening. Currently, Aku is a commissioner on the Lancet Commission on Global Governance for Health. She is a former Board member of Health Systems Global.
