The 8th Interdisciplinary Dialogue of the Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology (BGHS), entitled „More than Words – Language, Culture, and Academia“, will focus on the relationship between language and culture in different academic contexts. The discussants are Sandra H. Lustig (translator), Ingrid Piller (linguist, University of Hamburg) and Lisa Regazzoni (historian, Bielefeld University).

At the Interdisciplinary Dialogue, the invited experts will discuss with each other, but above all with the audience. Sabine Schäfer, Executive Manager of the BGHS, will moderate the dialogue. The event takes place in English.
